Location: On the Cuddalore Main Road at a place called Ariyankuppam
Chunnambar is a travelers` paradise. Essentially the Chunnambar Beach and Backwater Resort is run by PTTDC. The resort is flanked on one side by a quiet-flowing creek. A bevy of excitements await the visitors with overnight stay also possible.

* Sea Cruise: Take a short, sea cruise and watch dolphins in their natural habitat.
* Water sports centre For people who just love water there is a swimming pool in the thick of the backwaters. To help you swim there are floats and swimming coaches. Kayaking can also be done here. Motor boats can be hired for taking you to the mouth of the backwater and the Paradise beach . Hydro plane is another attraction here. Row bosats take you to the place where where the river branches out. You can also paddle about leisurely just enjoying the scenic beauty.
* Seagulls: Seagulls is a multicuisine restaurant cum bar where you can savour finest Chinese and Tandoori food amidst scenic surroundings.
* Plage Paradiso: The beach at Chunnambar is called Plage Paradiso or simply Paradise Beach. The location is just near the mouth of the backwater. Pristine sand and clean water provides an ideal setting for sun bathing and enjoying beach sports.
* Tree top houses: A big attraction here for the adventure lovers is staying in three tree top houses. These tree top houses are named as Sunrise Panorama, Palm house and Nest bird respectively.
